I enjoy seeing what you are doing. Loved seeing your retro singer sewing machine, those are the best! My mother still regrets to this day trading her featherweight singer in for a modern machine in the 60s.
Just stopping by to say hello. : )
Do you think the young lady with leukemia would like a quilt? I'm a member of Quilts for Leukemia. There is probably a quilt ready or nearly ready that we could get to her. Please respond, and we can get the ball rolling.
Thank you for stopping by Amelia. :) I would be sad too if I had traded a featherweight for anything else! I love sewing on the 99K! That is the machine that I use the most. I recently got another machine and will have to share pictures of it too. It is a 1946 Kenmore in the cabinet. It has the knee bar. I haven't gotten it out and messed with it yet but I'm wanting to. :)
Carol,
I think that Taylor would LOVE a quilt made just for her!! I posted a message over on your blog. :) My email address is steeleangiemcc (at) gmail (dot) com
Hi,
I run Quilts 4 Leukaemia. Carol contacted me about making a quilt for Taylor. She is already on the list.
That was the young lady Carol said lived in Colorado. This Taylor lives here in KY. :) Carol contacted me over the weekend that Taylor's quilt is completed. I can't wait until she gets it. I really hope she likes it. Thank you all so much. You all do such and awesome thing!!
