My Favorite Cornbread Recipe Shared From

My Favorite Cornbread Recipe....from

Corn Bread

Stir together:
1-1/2 cups corn meal
2 cups flour
2/3 cup sugar (She uses Splenda)
2 tablespoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt

Mix in:
2 cups milk
2 eggs (I always put 3)
1/4 cup canola oil

Spoon into two 8x8" baking pans. Bake about 20 minutes at 350°. Or bake in a 9x13" pan for 25-30 minutes or until bread tests done.

I have made this so many times! I double it and use my big camping skillet. I have taken it to church and the skillet came back empty! :)  I use 5 eggs when I double it (doubling everything else and cook for around an hour-I just test to see when it's done).  Super yummy with chili or beans or just by itself with butter. YUMMY!
