Our 9 year old says he wants to be a preacher......

This is our son Cody. He is preparing to give a message at our church. Cody says he wants to be a preacher when he grows up.  Isn't that so sweet.  This was back in April of 2010.  Our little preacher boy. He had just turned 9 years old here.

Here is Cody giving his message.

I want to have a Giveaway!! See inside!

Ok, for anyone that has read my blog within the last month you know that I won an Accuquilt GO!  So, since I cannot give away a GO! I can do the next best thing......I can giveaway some cutting from the GO! So, I will have the winner mail me their fabric (within a reasonable size-LOL!) and I will cut it out for them and mail it back.  Sounds easy...right? Very accurate and a quick turn of events. I'll get it and be able to cut it out and send it right back.

Just food for thought.....I don't have any pets and nor do I smoke....so you shouldn't have any worries about your fabric with those concerns.  :0)

So, If you are interested then leave me a comment for 1 entry, follow me for the 2nd entry and for the 3rd entry tell me if you want the 6 1/2" Tumbler Die for your cuts or the Apple Core for your cuts.  I will announce the winner of the free cuts on Nov. 17th. This way maybe you can get the fabric to me by the weekend and I can put it back in the mail on the following Monday so you will get it before Thanksgiving. :0)

I just thought this would be something nice to do for someone that hasn't gotten the GO! yet.  Hope you all like the idea. I actually read this on another blog and thought that it was really neat for someone to do so......thanks for the idea.  :0)

So, get commenting......   :0)

10 Minute Block, 3-D Pinwheel and Tube Block!

I am still waiting on my dies before I can tell you what I am planning on doing about my little giveaway.  So.....keep checking back/watching.  :-)      I will tell  you as soon as I can.  :-)

We had a ballgame last night. Our oldest son did really really well! I was so proud of him!  He stole the ball away from the other team at least 6 or 7 times! I had a sore throat by the time I left there! WHOOO HOOO!  Very exciting games.

I have been working on some new quilt blocks to see how they turn out.  I have done the 10 minute block and the 3-D Pinwheel. I really like both of these but would have to say that I just love the pinwheel one!  I am hoping to do the Tube block over the weekend if I can squeeze in time.  It is so neat!

If you are interested in any of these I will post the places so you can see how to make them too.
10 Minute Block:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbTHlGGKMPM

3-D Pinwheel Block: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-57715-1.htm

Tube Block: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rl_OPPpXNLM&feature=related

I hope that if you look at these you will tell me what you think. I really like all 3 of them. I can't wait to get to try out the Tube block.  I will be posting some pictures of my blocks. If you make them let me know so I can check out your blocks too.  Very simple, easy blocks......lets do some quilting!!       :^)

Picture update on quilt for Cory!

Cory's quilt with the blocks together. Not near finished. I have more red/white/blue fabric
to put around it. Just had to share!

I am wanting to get this quilt done as quick as I can because it has just taken me so long to do. Not that it was difficult in anyway but just because of the lack of time.  It needs to be pressed but I just had to share it.  :0)  I hope that he likes it when it is done.  :0)

My little want to be sewing girl....

Mary-Grace loves the iron. Good thing she has her own play iron that sounds like Mommy's.

Maybe she will grow up and make beautiful quilts to share with others.  She has one of the blocks that I have been working on for Cory's quilt here.

She's really working hard right here. She needs her own machine I think.  She's only 2 here, at what age do you think she should get her own?  She just turned 3 so maybe it's getting closer to time.     =)

I love these little pictures of her. I hope that one day she will enjoy sewing like I do.

Here's my little girl with her fat baby....

Mary Grace after she's had her birthday dinner, ice cream cake & her bath. Ready for bed....almost.

The Sweetest Little Mommy!

She just loves her bike and being silly.

She loves Fat Baby!
She was sure cheesing it! She just had to sit in the
rocking chair that Mamaw and Papaw brought over
for her.

My Baby Girl is 3 years old!

I can't believe that our youngest child, our only girl is now 3 years old! We had dinner last night with my parents and had an icecream cake for Miss Mary-Grace. She seemed to enjoy herself. I got some pictures of her while eating her cake and after she had her bath. She's growing up and it makes me so sad. One day she will need me very little I'm afraid. Well, for now she is always around me and is the sweetest/funniest/character I've ever met....of course in girl form. My 4 boys are all of the above too. I'm going to share some pictures.  Well, I was able to add one and she's being silly in it for sure! so......I'll have to do another blog later with my baby girl with her Fat Baby as she calls her.   =)

Too busy to think!

For the past 2 days I have just been too busy to think. I honestly don't like that feeling. The feeling of overwhelm-ment.....if that's even a word. I have met with 7 people today at work. That's not counting dealing with the current students that we have in class and my 2 ringing phones! Ugh..... I am hoping tomorrow won't be as crazy. I'm sure it will be but at least it is making my week go by extremely fast! So, I'm just praying and holding out for Friday afternoon.

The fall festival is Friday and I'm wondering if we are going or not..... I'd love to stay home and just CRASH!~Or even get some quilting done! Need to cut some fabric for our Quilt Circle coming up on Monday night. I really hope I get quite a bit of that done this weekend, if not before.

Well, I have rambled on long enough. I'm hoping to be able to take some pictures on Monday night to get to share on my blog. :0)

Hugs to anyone that is actually reading this. I love comments, so if you're feeling chatty go ahead. =)

My Kiddos....

Here are two pictures that I just LOVE! These are my kiddos.  The one of M-G by herself was taken in May of 2009. The other picture of all of my kids was taken on Sept. 11, 2009.  The kids have already had their new picture taken for this year. I haven't gotten them yet so I wait.........   Just had to share last year's picture.  They have grown so much just since last year. It's unbelievable.   =)

Happy Day to all............

Hard to believe it's September!

I hope you have your plans all laid out for the weekend and don't lose a minute of time. We have several things going on and I hope to get several things done.

Saturday we will be taking some food over to the church for a family that their dear mother just went to heaven. This will be a time where they will celebrate her life. I want to help in that. When my pastor's wife ask me I was sure that I definately wanted to take part. What a blessing to me it was when my dear father-in-law died and the church did that for our family. I was actually on bedrest with Mary-Grace and was not able to attend but I was so thankful to them. We had family that were in from out of town. I couldn't get up and provide them a meal. I will always be thankful for that.

Sunday we will go to church like usual then afterward we'll go out of town to my Granny's 75th birthday get together. She has no idea that it's for her! HA!! We use to always do a family reunion on this day and they stopped doing it. So, she just thinks that we are going to try and just get together for that since it has been a little while. My uncle is very sick (her son) and we are going to get to see him.

Monday......well, we don't really have anything planned but I have several things that I want to get accomplished at home. Plus, I am wanting to get some fabric cut for our church quilting get together that some of us ladies are wanting to do. So, I'm hoping the kids will cooperate and we can get some things done. :0)

How about you? What do you have planned? Would love to hear!! Enjoy your family and please be safe. Hugs to anyone reading this. :0)

Update on Cory's Quilt.

I wanted to post a picture of one of the blocks for Cory's quilt. I just put the white sashing around the Rail Fence block. I like it. Looks kind of rough in this stage because the white still looks like it hasn't been ironed or maybe it's the way I stitched it. Anyway....the Rail Fence block was about 15 1/2" to 16 " So I think when I put the white sashing on it brought it up to about 22 1/2" to 23". I didn't really measure after finishing it. I want to hurry up and post and go to bed. It's late! :0)

I have another fabric that I am going to go around this with when I get all of the blocks lined out in the white. I have 6 in all and want to make it as large of a quilt for my 9 year old as possible. I really think he is going to like it. I can't wait to see how it turns out. I guess we'll have to wait and see won't we?!

I Love quilting.....don't you?

My Day Didn't Turn Out the Way That I Pictured It.....

Ok. So, today didn't go as planned and I didn't get to do things exactly how I had imagined but....I got a lot done! I have 2 very clean kids rooms (it's easy when you bag up all their toys!) LOL

Made about 3 pounds of Pinto Beans, have a gallon bag froze and then some in the frig for tomorrow, made Tacos for dinner, Made 2 Beef and Bean Burritos, 3 Bean Burritos and put in the freezer. A FULL gallon size bag of Taco soup, 2 gallon bags of Chili. So, that is very good for me to get to accomplish! I have some Great Northern Beans soaking so I can cook them tomorrow and freeze. :0) I love having a big freezer!

Cooking Ahead! My Agenda for today.

I have several things that I need to accomplish today. The kids go back to school on Tuesday. I want to have some things frozen for their lunches so we can grab and go. So....here's a list of some of the things I plan to prepare.

Chili (for Chili or Chili Dogs)
Taco Soup
Tacos
Refried Bean Burritos
Pinto Beans (for beans and cornbread-My Favorite!)

These will get us through a couple of days for them. Plus they take other things throughout the week from leftovers. That is the one thing that I love about where they go to school. They will heat their food for them.....whatever they take.

So....I'm off to get started.

Anyone have any other ideas for lunches....please feel free to let me know. I welcome them. :0)

Still have to finish up painting in MG's room. Ughhhh.....

Boredom gets to the boys!

The sheet was removed, they have the mattress tied up with the mini blind cord! YIKES.....what's next?

Big Plans for this weekend!

Ok, I have plans again for this weekend. =) I am "planning" to repaint Mary-Grace's room. Poor thing, it has already been painted once, now repainting and she hasn't even moved in it yet-its empty! I should take some before and after pictures so you can see. Plus, so I can see it after I finish it. It is painted blue and yellow right now. At the time when we originally painted it we thought that would be for our lil girl and our youngest lil boy Logan. Well, since then our oldest son Lucas has decided he wants the bedroom downstairs, so Logan will get his own room too. I will have to repaint that room ugh!

Anyway, I plan to paint her room pink up top, yellow on the bottom and purple in the middle like a border. That is if DH doesn't have a coronary about the colors. =) These colors will match her Raggedy Ann and Andy quilt that I made for her. She loves that thing. I have the letters that spell her name out and they are white. That will look good over her bed. I love those things! =) Here's my post about the quilt http://5kidsmyhusbandandme.blogspot.com/2009/12/raggedy-ann-and-andy-quilt.html

I still need to paint our master bathroom to match our bedroom. I need to paint the kitchen. All of this needs to be complete before we do our flooring in all of these rooms. We have our estimate and are working towards getting it done.

We still have to find a loving home for our 2 pugs Lenny & Squiggy. They are going to be left at home all day while we are at work/school. That is just too long for them to be left like that. The kids have not paid them as much attention as they said they would...... imagine that! So, before the flooring....we have to find a new home for them.

Hugs to you all. I hope that everyone gets as much work done as they are wanting to this weekend. I for one am tired of this project that we started over 5 years ago. We are so close but so far away from having our addition done. Can't wait!!

TTFN (Ta Ta For Now) =)

Yard Sale today....Yeah-sold the drums!

Went to my Dad and his wife Tonya's house today and we had a yard sale. We sold our drums-Yeah!!! Sold kids clothes, cookbooks and a few toys! So glad!! =)

How is your weekend going? Very Hot Here!!

Haven't been sewing much lately. I need to repaint Mary-Grace's bedroom and get it ready for carpet. I am thinking Pink on top, Yellow on bottom and Purple strip in the middle to divide the two. Whatcha think? I made her Raggedy Ann and Andy quilt and it has these colors. =)

Well, enjoy the warmth-it will be over....eventually and we'll be complaining about it being so cold.

Take care!!

Missing my boys!!

Our 3 oldest boys left out for Church Camp yesterday (the Jr. camp). Lucas went the week before last to Teen Camp and loved it! Cory and Cody haven't ever been. They haven't ever been away from Mom and Dad for this amount of time either. They will be home Friday evening.....I can't wait! Our poor little Logan just broke down this morning he really misses his boys! It was so sad. I felt for him because I know I miss our boys. I know it is a good experience for the boys and they are hearing so much right now that they really need. I can't wait to get to hear all about it when they get home. So.....hurry up week and fly by! :0)

Hugs!

Family.....

Great Grandkids.....

My Mary-Grace and our cousin Sophie......doesn't she look like Angela Lansbury in this photo (the one in the blue?)

My little nephew Eli. He has been a very sick little boy here lately. I'm glad he's feeling better.

Here are some photos of my family.... we don't see them very often so the kids were excited! We got some pictures of the kids with my Mamaw which is their Great Mamaw. The title fits her well.....Great Mamaw! She's the most loving Mamaw you could ever ask for. I love her and I am so blessed to still have her in my life. I know my cousins feel the same way. No body compares to Mamaw!

Camp week.

Our oldest son Lucas went to church camp.....here he is with his friend Tyler from church. They were excited....so were their parents-a bit of different excitement though. I think the parents were excited for the boys but a little axious for their well being. The boys did just fine and had a WONDERFUL time! They attended camp at Camp Canine in Somerset KY. They are going to be going back for another week with their younger siblings. We'll see how we all do during this one! I'm very nervous about this next one......our twins haven't ever been away from home with out my husband or myself with them... :0) I am thankful that Lucas will be able to go with them.

Projects that I have been working on-finally posting pictures!!

I have been wanting to post some pictures of some things that I have been working on. I am finally going to. It seems like forever since I added anything on here. So, for our pastor's wife for her birthday #66 to be exact I wanted to make something for her. I thought why not some throw pillows and use a quilt block? The Friendship Star to be exact! So, here is what I did.

I have other pictures that I will be posting of some other things that I want to share. :0)

What a week! Trying to Stay Positive.

It has been a long week. I have felt yucky all week. Nose is stuffy and chest feels tight/congested/heavy. I am trying to stay positive though. God has done great and mighty things so that we can share his word with others.

I went to a ladies conference on May 15th. It was awesome! I really enjoyed the messages these ladies had. JoJo Moffitt and Francie Taylor are just great speakers. I just felt revived after they spoke. Ready to go out and conquer the world! :0) I took notes while I was there so that I can look back over them again and again.

This weekend will be a long weekend and I can't wait. I know that it will fly by but I want to enjoy every minute of being able to be with my family. This is the closest thing I will have to a vacation until the next holiday weekend (4th of July or Labor Day). I will be taking the boys swimming on Saturday-weather permitting. I really want the twins to learn how to swim before church camp this summer. That is my biggest obstacle right now! I would feel so much better if I knew they could swim. The pool that they have at the camp will be over their heads! YIKES! I want them to be able to go to camp......but the Momma in my wants to keep them home forever!

I haven't had much sewing time in because of our working on our addition. I had to pack it all up so that the painters and trim work people could work. I would love to set it back up and be able to get some sewing done. I was thinking....you know it's bad when I start to think! HA! We have 2 closets in our room-why couldn't I use one of the closets (mine) and put a very small table in it and put my machine in there so I can just leave it set up and open the door when I want to sew and close the door when I am done. I can leave whatever I am working on on the machine and still leave it tidy around the area. I'm still working on the idea. :0)

Our room turned out beautifully. It is a dusty leaf (green). We also had our livingroom and hallways done! I LUV IT! Those are a very pretty blue up top and a white chair rail then a sand color on the bottom. TOTALLY LOVE IT!! I will have to post some pictures!! :0) Just to let you know, my husband and I don't really like the color blue. So, this has been a challenge for him and myself. I found the colors and just loved them together. I told him, lets just give it a chance-we both really like it! The white chair rail really sets it off.

The kids are doing great. The boys got out of school on May 19th. Lucas is working with the twins on their reading. He has always said he wanted to be a teacher.....so, he's being a great help and working with them. I am so blessed to have such a great helper. Lucas is wanting to go to both of the summer church camps this year. We are planning on letting him. He is such a big help to us that he deserves a break away and to have some fun. I know he will really enjoy it. He went the year before last and really liked it. The first week he will be gone to teen camp then they will have a week's break then the jr. camp will go, so we will have 3 gone for the jr. camp. I am glad that Lucas can go because the twins haven't been away from home without at least one of us being with them. This will be a challenge for all of us. We'll only have the two little ones at home! What will we do? Meals will be different-won't have to cook much at all.....the 3 best eaters will be away. Boy I should probably warn the cooks at the camp. HA!! HA!!

I almost forgot to mention that our youngest son Logan graduated from Kindergarden on May 21. He did so good! They do a little program and he did great. We got tickled at him because they do their alphabet forward and backward. When they went to do the alphabet backward he was suppose to turn around and say it backward while turned backward-HE FORGOT TO TURN AROUND~he was the only one still facing the audience. Everyone got tickled. I'm so glad I was recording that!! HA! I got some sweet pictures of him too. While we were getting ready to leave the house I got several pictures of all of the kids together too. Was funny, all of the boys had orange in their shirts......would have thought we had planned it that way but we didn't. :0)

I must go for now. I hope to update soon with some pictures of our work at the house.

Stay positive and know that you have a friend in Jesus.....

I've been MIA for a while again....Sorry!

I know I've been out for a bit again. Have some things to update. I am taking a break for a minute just to update.

About a month ago I got the idea to cut out the cable and internet from our home. I know some may gasp! HA!! It has actually been just fine. The kids will miss it this summer but.....I don't want them sitting in front of the television all summer long wasting their time away. We have all been reading more-I love it! DH even commented about not missing it. We do however have about 6 or 7 televisions in our home. We have lots of movies so they will be used but not much. That is ok! I like the little challenge that I gave us. :0) We can get online with DBIL's dial up connection that he has but I don't know how often we'll actually use that. I just don't want my family time to be wasted sitting in front of a box. I'm not at all saying that T.V. is bad-although some of the programs that come on are totally not what I want my 5 children watching-or myself. So, for now we'll continue our journey without the cable. :0)

I am still working full time. Still praying that God will allow me to go back home to be with the children. I miss being there with them daily! I am still staying positive and continuing to pray. So, please help in that prayer if you would. I would so appreciate it.

I try to get in some sewing whenever posible. I am still working on Cory's Red, White and Blue quilt. It will have the rail fences in it. :0) It's coming along. I should really post some pictures as soon as I can~making a mental note of that!! :0)

I am excited that I have gained more followers! That is terrific. Thank you! I will be visiting your blog too. Please feel free to comment any time. I just love comments! :0)

Thanks for checking in and have a positive, creative, beautiful and blessed day! (Wow! The thunder just started! WHEW! That was loud and long-still going!) :0)

My new little motto~~ No matter what is going on in this life, we have to stay positive-someone else may be watching. I want to be positive for those that can't be! Don't you?

HUGS!!

Spring Break is Almost Over Already....

The kids have been out on Spring Break and now it's almost over. I hate it for them. At least they got their testing over with before. They have enjoyed their time away.....

Too bad it has rained quite a bit for a couple of days. Other than that they are having fun!

Give Away! Check this out!

I just had to share with you all an adorable give away over on Abbey Lane Quilts.

http://abbeylanequilts.blogspot.com/2010/03/give-aways-to-celebrate-national-quilt.html

I really liked # 4. Something about the orange and blue together! ;-) I hope you'll go over and look at it.

Thanks,
Angie

Beautiful Day! I want to SEW!

It is going to be a beautiful day today! I can't wait!!

I am hoping the kids will play NICELY! I want to set my sewing machine up outside and get a bit of work done. A lot of work to get to that point~have to move the table, my mats, machine etc. Don't know how that will work out but......it's a nice idea! HA!

Mary-Grace loves to "sew". She comes over and puts her hand on the material and tries shoving it through. I am working on several things and would like to get something else finished. I have a quilt that I am working on for Cory, another quilt for my little cousin Noah, a Christmas quilt....yeah, didn't quite get it completed for this past Christmas so...it shall be for this Christmas! Plus I got different material that went on sale after Christmas! That is the best time to buy Christmas fabric anyway. I also have a small wall quilt that I need to figure out how I want to put the blocks together. I have 6 blocks I think. I did a block swap and got 5 blocks and the other block is identical to the one that I sent out. This way I have one of each including mine. I need to post some pictures so I can show anyone that reads this.

Lunch will be something easy.....don't know just yet but it will have ground beef in it.
If I can think about it and actually get my sewing machine outside to do some work I'll get some pictures of what I am doing while outside. I may even let Lucas use the camera so I am in the picture. HA!

Until next time.

Just wanted to share with you.....

Dinner!

Dinner tonight is a Taco Ring. YUM! If you've never had one you just have to try it. You take crescent rolls and lay them out with the wide ends overlapping slightly. Make your taco meat like normal. Add the meat around on the crescents, add cheese then flip the tip of the crescent over and press. Bake until crescents are cooked through. Add sour cream, salsa, onion, refried beans etc. We really like these and it's easy! ;-)

Have a fun night!

Feeling very blessed.....let me explain.

Today I feel very blessed. Not that I don't feel blessed any other day. Just thinking more of it today. I am blessed to have a warm home, food to eat, a family that I love dearly, a job-so many don't have these things.

Have you ever just sat back and thought about that??? No matter what you may be going through at the time......someone somewhere is dealing with something even worse. There could be someone that is homeless and hungry, a family splitting up for whatever reason, a family missing their loved one that they just lost to death, a small child (or anyone) with cancer.....I cry when St. Jude is on T.V. Just tears me up! So, many things out there that we could be going through.

I am truly blessed. Are you?

If you are as blessed as I am let me know. What are you Thankful for? I know we are thankful at Thanksgiving, but we should be thankful every single day.

Leave me a message and let me know what you are thankful for.......I am thankful for you....

They are my blessings....

Hugs!

My newest Quilt Block!

I was working on this block last night and finally got it done early this morning. I like how it turned out. Need to do a whole lot more for the quilt, but...you have to start somewhere! :0)

Missing my dear hubby....

You know, my husband has been at home every day working instead of being out on the road since March of 09. Since he got laid off he accepted a job with Averitt Express and he's now in TN doing is orientation with the company. I have to say I really am missing him being home. I was use to taking care of everything while he was gone for so many years and now it's such an odd thing for him not to be at home. I know he is missing being here too. Even after going on 15 years you just feel out of place when they aren't with you. :0( So.....I am missing my hubby.......

My Dear Hubby was told today!

That the company he interviewed with was wanting to hire him!!! Praise the Good Lord! He won't start for about 2 more weeks but.....we now know he has a job. I am so Thankful! I know it made him feel good too when the one lady that he had spoke with a few times about the job said she knew he would do well on the interview!

I just had to update you. :0)

Thank you so much for your prayers. I'm still praying that everything goes well.

Hugs!!

Yesterday was our last day......

We cleaned out the office and finished up at work. Now.....as I sit with my sewing things around me. I wonder what we'll do and how we'll do it. I know God has a plan. I'm just not sure what his plan is. I know I've been praying that God would make a way for me to be at home with our kids again. Is this part of that plan? I don't know. I will just try to do what I know God wants me to and wait.... God is good even in the valley. :0) I know that he has promised we would never do without. Those of you that know God know what I am talking about. You have probably seen it over and over again in your own life. I know I have seen it countless times. Please just remember our family as you pray.

Hugs to anyone that reads this.

A Very Trying Week and what our future holds....

Ok, Just to let anyone reading this know.....this week has been a very trying one. We have wondered if DH and I would both have a job or not come the end of the week. Contract negotiations have been going on and we just were not sure of our standing. Well, we have heard rumors, we have been told by others that none of us had a job, I have gotten phone calls. One phone call was from a company that is wanting to take over. Very bold on their part to call. So, I have been praying and praying. I don't know what God holds for our future. I can't totally say that I'm not afraid. I do know that we will get through it, God has always made a path. It may not have been the path that I thought we would be taking but it was a path that worked out. So, I'm just trusting that this new path that God has for us will be what he wants.

I checked my e-mail this morning and a friend of ours sent this:

Concentrate on this sentence......

'To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did.' When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. Concentrate on this sentence... 'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you'

He didn't know what we had going on. Isn't it amazing how God works. So, today even though things are uncertain and I would just love to sit and cry I know we will be carried all the way as long as we are doing what God wants us to do.

Hugs to you all.

Update: The Surgery went well.

Just wanted to update anyone that might be wondering. MG is doing well since her surgery. It only took about 10 minutes once they got in there. Since then she is now sick with a cold and an ugly cough so please continue to pray for her. Some of the other kids are sick and I am getting it too I believe. So, as you pray please keep us in your prayers. :0) Thank you.

Cold weather here. Very very cold!

Warm hugs to all.

Needing Your Prayers for Our 2 Year Old!!

Tonight as I was changing MG's diaper I looked up at her and noticed something in her nose. I got to looking closer.......it was one of those plastic beads! It was lodged in her nose. I tried getting her to blow her nose and it wouldn't come out. She said it hurt. Well, I called my DMIL and she said to try sucking it out with one of those bulb suringe things.....wouldn't come out. So, I called my DH which was on his way home. He said take her and go........ So, I ran out the door to the urgent care and they immediately took us back. They tried to get it out but she fought so hard that it just made it go further back into the nose.

They decided to call one of the ENT's and thankfully Dr. Dave came in and took us upstairs. With much restraint yet again MG was held down and finally God gave that bead to Dr. Dave! Well, as he looked closer he saw something else. He tugged on it and it wouldn't come out. So......at 5:30 am MG will have to be at the Same Day Surgery to have whatever it is taken out.

Please keep our baby in your prayers. I will be by myself as DH has to be at work. My DMIL will be taking the kids to school for us. Her surgery is scheduled for 7:10 am. Please pray that God will guide the Dr.'s hands and that our precious baby will be ok.

As soon as I am able to post again I will. I just have to make sure she's going to be ok. Thank you all.

Hugs......

Anyone that does Christmas Projects....

For any of you that do any type of projects for Christmas don't forget to check for fabric sales! I got fabric for 61 cents a yard the other day! WHEW! What a nice treat! Needless to say I was very excited!

Hope everyone had a nice Christmas. We did....even though we were all sick with the stomach bug. I can't complain. We were blessed and still are. We are all staying warm and have food in our bellies. God supplies all of our needs and a lot of our wants. He's has been so good to us.

I'll try to post more often, I have just been very busy lately.

Hugs!!
